Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her performance as the character Detective Diane Russell. She is best known for her part as a character in All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. Delaney was the sole child of a United Auto Workers senior executive as well as a domestic worker was raised by four siblings. When she was a kid, Delaney dreamed of being a court reporter. Her modeling career began at the age of 14 and later landed commercials when she moved into New York. As a teenager the first time she appeared as an actress came in the soap opera All My Children. Since then, Delaney has been featured in many TV dramas and films. Delaney has not lived a good or satisfying personal life. The talented actor has had to battle alcoholism, and has had two failed marriages. She was divorced in 2005 and lost custody of her only child that she had.
